I have never been so happy to have started the chain of events that led to this wonderful little tribute to the LBD :D

At the Beginning - A Dizzie fanvid

After Episode 98 of the Lizzie Bennet Diaries aired, I put my iTunes on shuffle, and At the Beginning was one of the first songs to come up. I knew I wanted to attempt a fanvid, so here it is! Enjoy!

Wow, what a powerful video for Palm Sunday.

WHY?

Why did it have to be a friend who chose to betray the Lord? Why did he use a kiss to show them, that’s not what a kiss is for.

Only a friend can betray a friend, a stranger has nothing to gain. And only a friend comes close enough to ever cause so much pain.

And why did there have to be a thorny crown pressed upon His head? It should have been a royal one made of jewels and gold instead.

It had to be a crown of thorns for in this life we live, For all who would seek to love, a thorn is all the world has to give.

And why did there have to be a heavy cross He was made to bear? And why did they nail His feet and hands, His love would have held Him there.

It was a cross for on a cross, a thief was supposed to pay. And Jesus had come into the world to steal every heart away. Yes, Jesus had come into the world to steal every heart away

"Pope [Benedict XVI] is talking of the beauty of the spirit, the beauty of the heart, it has nothing to do with the artificial beauty of cosmetics. We wear our costumes when we don’t have the beauty of God."
~ Pope Francis
Quoted during 2012 video interview which made me think of the beauty of Mother Teresa vs. the artificiality of today’s photoshopped version of beauty.
